So the first step to get started is becoming an Amazon associate. Once you are an Amazon associate you can create special links. These special links are called affiliate links. So if anyone buys any products from Amazon by entering through your affiliate link (it could be a product you created a link for or anything else in the cart) you get paid a commission or referral fees.

Yes it is. It is free to join and easy to use.
How much can an Amazon affiliate earn in India
There is no limit to how much money you can earn from Amazon affiliate. You can make as low as Rs 1 or as high as you want – – mainly you need some traffic and engaged following.
If you get even 100 views and 50% of that converts into sales. I think you can earn good commissions.

No. Amazon does not pay for clicks.
It pays if anyone buys products after reaching Amazon via your affiliate links. It may or may not be the same product. So if someone clicks your affiliate links and buys different product (during the cookie period) you still get paid a commission.
Can I use my own Amazon affiliate link
No. you can not use your affiliate link to buy products.
How can you earn money from Amazon affiliate?
When we as bloggers write about any product we use and recommend to our readers, we can add an Amazon affiliate link to the product.
That way we recommend the product we like and if anyone buys it using our link we can get paid a small commission or referral fees from Amazon.

“We will pay you advertising fees on a monthly basis for Qualifying Purchases shipped, streamed, or downloaded (as applicable) in a given month, subject to any applicable withholding or deduction described below. We will pay you approximately 60 days following the end of each calendar month, but we may accrue and withhold advertising fees until the total amount due to you is at least INR1000 in case of NEFT transfers. “
What is the minimum amount I need to have to get paid by Amazon?
Rs 1000. So you need to have Rs 1000 as referral fees accrued.
So every month if you earn less than Rs 1000 then the amount gets added up every month and the month you have Rs 1000 in our account. you will get paid by Amazon.
How does Amazon Pay?
For Amazon India, you can set up your Bank account as payment method and can get paid by Amazon via NEFT in your bank account.
Is Amazon affiliate good for us when we don’t have traffic to our site?
If your readers trust you and you have engaged following. If your readers are likely to make purchase via your affiliate link – then Yes Amazon affiliate marketing is good for you even if you don’t have much traffic on your site.
By the way you can also share Amazon affiliate links on your social media channels. Do remember to mention in that your application as well.
Mainly Amazon needs sales in first three months otherwise the application would be cancelled but you can apply again

It depends on where are your readers from. If you get traffic and most of your readers are from India start with Amazon India affiliate program.

How to add Amazon affiliate links in your blog
I get traffic from India as well as US (and other countries) – which amazon link should I put
Okay what I do is check my Google analytics – and see where the traffic is coming from. If its from India I use India links if it is from US I use Amazon.com links (For Amazon.com you can also take advantage on one links – unfortunately that does not include India yet)
You can use both as well – just by hyperlinking or using ads. But honestly putting ads have not helped me get conversions.
Do I need traffic to get Amazon affiliate
Yes you do need a little bit of traffic for everything. But you don’t need crazy amount of traffic to get started with affiliate marketing. You need GOOD content and ENGAGED following
